Forces the next resolveAuth() call to re-invoke the resolver, even if the cached
credential hasn't reached its tracked expiry yet. Used to recover from a 401 that the
instance returned despite the credential appearing valid client-side (clock skew, an
instance-side session timeout shorter than the tracked expiry, revocation, etc).
