Outputs that a parallel branch can expose to the outer scope. A branch may either run side effects only (void —
the function has no explicit return) or return { ... } an object whose keys are action-variable names from inside
the branch.
Note: void (not undefined) is intentional. Branches without an explicit return have inferred type
() => void, which is NOT assignable to () => undefined. Using undefined here would force every existing
side-effect-only branch to add an explicit return undefined, which is a breaking change.
